Hindi Lovers Club of Illinois was officially formed in Jan. 2011 to promote and preserve the Hindi language (the National language of India) in the foreign land. The inaugural event was celebrated with the presence of the Consulate General of India, Chicago Mrs. Mukta Tomar.
The club was founded with the main goal to bring Hindi in everyday lives like day-to-day talking and expressing our thought so our next generation can be a part of this rich and deeply rooted history.

Introduce Hindi
We organize & celebrated important events i.e. Hindi Diwas, Hindi Poetry Nights, Indian Independence day & Republic day, cultural events, kids Hindi competitions, Hindi plays etc.

We organize monthly meetings where you can come to our meetings to share your poetry, thoughts, jokes, experiences in Hindi. Tell your friends about the club & encourage them to join.
Hindi Club of Illinois was founded by Gurbachan Kaur Shewakramani (Neelam) with the support of the Hindi Club of Illinois members, local community businesses and organizations and generous sponsors like you, we can build a greater diverse future for the Hindi language across globe.
Hindi Club is a brainchild of Gurbachan Kaur club got the new meaning as Hindi fans thronged and was established by her in the year 2011.
A Chicago resident since 40 years, he has completed his degree in Engineering from IIT Delhi & authored the book titled ‘Colors of Leaves’
An Attorney by Profession and dealing in real estate and commercial transactions, she holds the position of the Treasurer at the Hindi Club

Hindi Lovers club gives me the opportunity to stay in touch with my Hindi family even in Chicago. The sessions, interactions and events have been really helpful.
